Our Staff
Meet the FANTASTIC people who make Kaleidoscope Kids the great place it is!
Bridget Killen - Director
Hello! My name is Bridget, and this is my 6th year at Kaleidoscope Kids. I started off as a Pre-K teacher and transitioned over to the director role in September 2021. I have been in early childhood education for over a decade and thoroughly believe it is an essential step to building the foundation for a child’s future! Collaboration, respect, and communication are very important aspects of how a school can thrive. I love getting to know each family and child in our care and want everyone to have a wonderful school experience.
A little bit about me… I have a daughter who will be joining us at Kaleidoscope this year. I also have a
dog named Luna who will not be joining us at Kaleidoscope this year, regardless of how much she begs. I have my masters in ECE from SJU and my teaching certification from the state of NJ and PA. I love to be outdoors especially running outdoors, I have a goal to run a marathon/ half marathon in all 50 states by age 50! Happiness for me is exploring new places, visiting national parks, and traveling with my family/friends.
Brooke Truong - Administrator & Board Member
Hi, my name is Brooke Truong (Ms. Brooke) but most kids know as "Paxton's Mom". I've been with Kaleidoscope Kids preschool for over 5 years as a board member and more recently the school Administrator. What I love most about Kaleidoscope are the dedicated teachers that make every day special and full of opportunities for the students to learn and grow.
When I'm not at Kaleidoscope I'm spending time with my husband and two boys aged 9 & 5 (both of which are Kaleidoscope graduates). I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, trying to keep my many plants alive, and crafting (especially macrame).
Lisa Davis - Toddler Class Head Teacher
My name is Lisa Davis. I am 39 years old and I married with 2 girls Kylie 13 going into 8th grade and Gracie 6 going into 1st grade. I started working in childcare right after I graduated high school in 2000. I worked at a few different places. But I have been working for Kaleidoscope Kids for the past 3 years and absolutely love it. I have worked in all the age groups and love them all. I am very excited for the school year to start and am looking forward to working with your child this year!
Ashley Affrunti - Toddler Class Assistant Teacher
Hello! My name is Ashley Affrunti (Miss Ashley) and this is my first year at Kaleidoscope! I’m very excited to be joining Miss Lisa in the toddler room as assistant teacher! Caring for young children has always been a passion of mine and I am thrilled to be working with your little ones in the classroom this year. The past 13 years I have worked as a professional nanny for families in NYC, Philadelphia and NJ. I graduated from Camden County College with an A.A. in Liberal Arts and plan on returning to school to obtain my B.A. in Early Childhood Ed. I live in Westmont with my husband, daughter and our two fur babies! In my spare time I enjoy reading, hand embroidering, and gardening.
Lindsay Wettstein - Preschool Class Head Teacher
Hello, I'm Lindsay! I have an educational background in English Literature and Creative Writing. My profession, however, found me in the world of Finance and Accounting. While taking a few years off to care for my young children, I discovered a passion for early childhood development and education. I love helping the students in my care learn about the world with kindness and compassion. As Fred Rogers said, “play is truly the work of childhood.” I lead my classroom with that sentiment in mind. In my spare time, I enjoy playing any musical instrument I can get my hands on, performing with Collingswood Community Theater, going to my campground, working at Revolution Roasters, and spending time with family and friends.
Jenny Calderone - Afternoon Enrichment Teacher & Sub
Hello! My name is Jenny Calderone (Miss. Jenny). I grew up in Collingswood and graduated from Collingswood High School. Last Spring, I earned my Associates Degree in Early Education from Rowan of South Jersey. This coming fall I will be attending Rowan University to finish my education and earn my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I currently live in Collingswood with my family and have two dogs and just a “few” cats. When I am not at Kaleidoscope I am either studying/ doing homework, hanging with friends or spending time with my family. This will be my fifth year at Kaleidoscope! I am looking forward to connecting with my students and having an awesome year!
Dolores Diaz - PreK Class Head Teacher
Dolores Diaz (Miss Lori) I currently live in Wenonah, NJ with my husband, our five children and two fur babies. I have worked in education for several years and love what I do. I am enrolled in college to further my education. When I am not at work or in school, I enjoy spending time with my family.
Elaine Kradzinski - PreK Class Assistant Teacher
My name is Elaine Kradzinski (Miss Elaine). I retired back in 2004, but a quick 10 years later I was ready to go back to work, part time of course. I was working in a school for 3 years when I was hired at Kaleidoscope Kids Preschool for their opening day in September 2017. I have been joyfully working here ever since. I have had a lot of experience working with children and have two grown daughters of my own, along with 5 grandchildren. While I currently teach in the PreK room, I enjoy working with children of all ages. Outside of school I love to garden and enjoy swimming in my pool with my doggy and the grandkids all summer.
Caley O'Brien - Toddler Class Aide & Sub
Shalom Kaleidoscope families! My name is Caley O'Brien and I’m so pleased to be joining the staff at Kaleidoscope. My family and I live in Haddon Township and my son attended Kaleidoscope Kids Preschool last year. The kindness and community drew me back. I look forward to meeting you all and having a great year with the children.
Megan Blackburn - Yoga Instructor & Sub
I am Megan Blackburn (Ms. Megan). I have been a threes & fours teacher at Kaleidoscope for the past four years, since moving to Haddonfield from Decatur, GA with my husband. Originally I am from Massachusetts where I studied journalism and writing for my bachelors degree at Emerson college, but found myself drawn to working with young children. I moved to Chicago in 1990 and received my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Illinois, Chicago. My teaching philosophy is based on constructivism theory of Piaget and the 100 languages of Reggio Emilia- children are capable and learn best when they explore and ask their own questions. In teaching every year is new and I always look forward to meeting my new friends.
