Toddler & Preschool Classes
In our Toddler & Preschool classes, we focus on helping children develop socially and emotionally through play as they imagine the world from a different perspective, understand the differences between themselves and others, learn how to interact with others, and more. At this point in their development, children try on different roles during play helps them learn how other people feel and think. Through role play and act out scenarios, children explore the possibilities of their actions in the real world. Play reduced stress and serves as an outlet for anxiety.
One of the many benefits of play-based learning is that it helps children build friendships and learn how to cooperate and work together. Play offers kids the opportunity to learn how to resolve conflicts and establish a sense of self. Being able to initiate play and make decisions empowers children and helps them to become confident and motivated learners.
Art plays a big role in our play-based learning environment as well. When creating art with our students we focus on process-focused art experience in which there is no right or wrong way to create. Process focused art benefits children by allowing them to express their feelings or ideas the way they want to and they feel successful no matter what they make.
Pre-K Class
In our Pre-Kindergarten classes, teachers help child build confidence, curiosity and develop the skills needed for a happy and rewarding future. The Pre-K program provides a focus on problem solving, responsive listening, as well as language, social, and collaborative skills in an engaging way that helps to prepare children for Kindergarten.
